Polish to English translations [PRO]
Religion
Polish term or phrase: ocalony
The word survivor doesn't quite cover the depth of the Polish word with its suggestions that the person was in fact saved by someone (or something) else (like a higher power... but "saved" does't have the ring or gravitas I'm looking for. Other thoughts? Although in a sense the context is a religious one, it is also for a fairly mainstream television program, so it's not necessary that it's a specifically religious word. Thanks in advance.
