“Chão Morto é um projecto escultórico desenvolvido em dois momentos: primeiro, uma acção que conduziu ao “dessassoalhamento” do chão da sala que exercia a função de arquivo morto, na empresa cujas instalações são actualmente o ateliê do artista. Acção que se encontra documentada em quatro fotografias que apresentam esse espaço já sem o soalho de tacos que lhe pertencia. Os tacos foram numerados, retirados e limpos. Num segundo momento, os tacos foram remontados pela mesma ordem, mas não no mesmo espaço, nem a exercer a mesma função. Desenvolvido um plano composto por tacos, pronto a ser modelado, cortado e remontado de forma a construir um paralelepípedo de base quadrada.
