Descobri que "mexilhão dourado" deve ser traduzido por "golden mussel", porém, a minha dúvida é se a farinha é o típico "flour", ou se é um termo mais específico. Obrigada.

Explanation:
Apparently they've found a use for the invasive golden mussel... they grind it into flour and use it as part of animal feed for young pets ("piava"). I'm including a link for additional information. Hope this helps.
