Portuguese term or phrase: com eles
First of all I apologize as this is not exactly a term question.

This is from an HR questionnaire that I am back-translating. My question is this:

Can the 'singular they' be used in Portuguese like this, or should the text read "com ele/ela" or something else?

Complete sentence:
"Se alguém no trabalho se zanga comigo, eu fico igualmente zangado com eles."

Thank you in advance!

with them
not necessary

Explanation:
In Portuguese you will not find an exact equivalent. You would have to replace "with them" with something close or simply eliminate the last two words "... eu fico igualmente zangado."
