Like I said, Lillian will have to check where her translation is going. If for the United States, I strongly recommend another term other than State. I grew up in New York and lived there for over 35 years (yes, I'm an old guy:) and hardly ever heard State with the connotation of country/government. It's a term used internationally for sure, but in the U.S. it would be ambiguous, confusing because it automatically conjures up state as in NY, California, etc. Just my suggestion.... |
