The below quote is taken from a book on hair treatment and I have some doubt, if the correct technical term is 'strand' or 'wire' in this context, or maybe just plain 'hair'? My limited research resulted in both terms being used.
Grateful if anyone can advise if there is a correct technical term in this context/

Me parece que, nesse contexto, o mais comum é usar somente bair.
Acredito que strands (ou qualquer coisa parecida) seja desnecessário e bem menos usual:
