Certificate of (Final) Completion / Completion Certificate Explanation: I'm well aware that ProZ encourages only one answer per answerer, but exceptions are allowed, so I'm using this prerogative (rule 3.3) since I found a different interpretation after posting my first answer. Here it is: "O Certificado de Regularidade do Imóvel (CEDI) é equivalente aos conhecidos Auto de Conclusão, Habite-se e Auto de Vistoria. Ele deve ser utilizado para instruir pedidos de Licença de Funcionamento, Aprovação de Reformas e para comprovar a regularidade do imóvel." - http://www.ebenezzer.com.br/portfolio/Certificado-de-Regular... "Vamos falar o que é o Habite-se, sendo Certidão de baixa de Construção em Belo Horizonte , também conhecido como auto de conclusão, auto de vistoria, certificado de conclusão ou carta de habitação e para que ele serve." See video with full explanation at https://youtu.be/De6XEH5OHWg "Upon completion of construction, it is mandatory for the developer or the owner of a stand-alone property to get a completion certificate from the local authority." - https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/definition/completion-c... More information about this certificate: https://www.google.com/search?q="certificate of complet... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2019-06-22 16:27:49 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "O habite-se é o ato administrativo emanado pela prefeitura (...) falando que o imóvel pode ser ocupado, pode ser habitado." (eng. Fausto Costa Galvani, IMA) Based on the above explanation (from the video), the term can also be translated as "occupancy certificate". Here's the difference between the two: "The Building Completion Certificate is more of a technical in nature and it certifies that the building has been completed as per the sanctions and building rules of the location. The Occupancy Certificate is given after a survey which ensures certain civil laws and safety have been followed. e.g. Tall buildings should have provisions for fire fighting and access for a fire engine to enter the premises. Other facilities like sewage, water supply, electricity and rain water harvesting should be in place. Ideally the building should not be handed over to the customer without the above two certificates." - https://www.quora.com/What-is-difference-between-Occupancy-C... |
