Portuguese term or phrase: passar
Editing a translation of a report entitled "Determinação de Amônio, Amônia e Nitrogênio Amoniacal em Tabaco por Cromatografia de Íons". The translator has translated 'passar' in the following instances as 'pass' which sounds off to me but I can't think of the right word. Would appreciate help! To UK English.

• Estocar a coluna em fase móvel
• Instalar o frasco com água tipo I(Milli Q) e purgar por 3 minutos
• **Passar** pelo sistema água tipo I(Milli Q) por 30 minutos
• Injetar manualmente água tipo I(Milli Q) por aproximadamente 10 minutos
• Instalar o frasco com solução de limpeza(metanol 10%) e purgar por 3 minutos
• **Passar pelo sistema** a solução de limpeza(metanol 10%) por 30 minutos
• Injetar manualmente solução de limpeza(metanol 10%) por aproximadamente 10 minutos
• **Passar** pelo sistema água tipo I(Milli Q) por 30 minutos
• Injetar manualmente água tipo I(Milli Q) por aproximadamente 10 minutos

Procedimento de Inicialização do Cromatógrafo de Íons após Limpeza:

• Instalar o frasco de fase móvel e purgar por 3 minutos
• **Passar** fase móvel pelo sistema por 1 minuto
• Instalar a coluna
• Estabilizar a linha base por pelo menos 1 hora.
