Is there a word or symbol that you don't understand?

My Romanian is zero, but there must be a specific definition for "folio" that will apply to your context.

I see.

There is no "acronym" for "leaf", that I know.

You could use "leaf" directly, but here is a definition that may be useful to you, which does equal to "leaf", as you can see here,

http://www.memidex.com/folio sheet-of-paper

folio (sheet of paper) Go to the "Audio references" section
Definition: a sheet of any written or printed material (especially in a manuscript or book)

See also Oxford in the same link, and others,

an individual leaf of paper or parchment, either loose as one of a series ...

Notes to answerer
Asker: I am really confused... A leaf is a single sheet bound in a book, and a leaf has two pages. The first page that you read on a leaf is the recto page, and you turn it over to read the verso page. https://www.biblio.com/book_collecting_terminology/leaves-61.html https://www.biblio.com/book_collecting_terminology/%7BGLOBALS.SITE_BASE%7D/book_collecting_terminology/folio-158.html

Asker: I wanted to know the acronym for leaf, if there is any... (in the context of bibliology)... folio on the other hand does not equal to leaf
