"disabilities "este folosit si nu are conotatia atat de negativa ca si "handicapped"; eu am predata o clasa la un "home"; si asta e acceptata.

aleg raspunsul tau pentru ca m-a ajutat cel mai mult, dar in schimb formula cu " Assisted living facilities for the disabled" pentru ca inseamna locuinte neinstitutionalizate pentru oameni care nu pot trai singuri dar nu sunt nici in stadiul incare sa aiba nevoie permanenta de ingrijire.

disagree  Tatiana Neamţu: Indiferent de dizabilitate, îmi pare rău să o spun, dar NU sunt de acord cu "handicapped". Disabled, poate. Vă rog, unde am spus eu mentally disabled? Am spus doar disabled. În loc de handicapped. Punct.
