Russian term or phrase: объем рампы двухэтажного корпуса
Dear all, I'd never have taken on an architecture text -- not my field at all -- but suddenly this monster jumped out at me from a text on Moscow's history:

На углу Каретного Ряда был возведен эффектно закругленный объем рампы двухэтажного корпуса.

I think объем might be a bit of empty verbiage here (or maybe not?), but how do this рампа and this корпус relate two each other? And how do I translate whatever this means? It's about a 1920s garage, if that's any help. THANK YOU!

Thank you, Oleg and Frank! I've picked Frank's "The first two-storey garage with an impressive curved ramp around it was built at the entrance to the Karetny Ryad Street", a really elegant solution in context, but Oleg's original suggestion is best suited

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you! So you're sure that "рампы двухэтажного корпуса" means "рампы ДЛЯ двухэтажного корпуса"? That's what I found weird in the text... Спасибо!

-> Thank you, Frank! Or... The first two-storey garage with an impressive curved ramp around it was built at the entrance to the Karetny Ryad Street (ref. to the link above to have a look at this building in 2008-2020).
