Explanation:
From this and several other explanations to be found by googling, I gather that it means freeing a stuck valve in a cylinder head, thus releasing the spring and enabling the valve to be adjusted to run properly. It is desirable to do this without removing the cylinder head if possible. (I did a three-year apprenticeship on aircraft engines, in the days when they were mostly piston engines, so I have some knowledge of the subject, and this makes sense to me.)

Если съемника нет, – существует самое простое решение. Возьмите отрезок металлической трубы внутренним диаметром около 20 мм или же свечной ключ из штатного набора инструментов.
Снизу под клапан подставьте какой-нибудь упор, или, на худой конец, скомкайте старую тряпку и заполните ею камеру сгорания, а саму головку положите на пол. Поставьте трубу на верхнюю тарелку клапана и нанесите по ней удар молотком. С второго-третьего удара сухари покинут свое место и освободят пружину.
