agree  VASKON: "rigid" because it's straight, it's ON or OFF via a transfer shaft (gear box) with constant torque, no differential. One can block a differential to make an artificial rigid connection, but this is not the case according to the abstract.

disagree  VASKON: According to the abstract there is no diffirential in the model described. It's purely part-time. Sorry, but the answer is misleading for the reason.
