Russian term or phrase: Северный тюльпан
I confess it immediately: I don't speak any Russian. I am translating the titles of works of art (figures carved out of gemstones) into German. The Russian gallery provided the titles in Russian and English and I am supposed to translate the titles from English into German (not my idea - it's complicated, I can't help it). The English title provided is "north tulipe" which seems a bit strange to me. I am wondering whether this translation might be wrong and the original might be the name of a real flower? If not, would it be wrong if I changed the English into "Northern tulipe" or "Tulipe from the north"? I don't have any photo, all I know is that the object is made of agate and obsidian. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.

Northern tulip
Explanation:
As far as I know, there are no flowers with such name. Instead, there exists North Pole Tulip (see link). So, you can use any of your variants.
