Russian term or phrase: торговать с рук
В моем доке контекст:
В Центрах обслуживания Компании и у Партнеров, торгующих с рук, можно ознакомиться с документами, подтверждающими надлежащее качество продукции.

Но каким бы ни был контекст, я не могу найти человеческий перевод этого явления, когда ко мне приходит домой дяденька и предлагает какой-нибудь супер БАД, например...

conduct face-to-face sales/personal sales
Explanation:
Definition: Face to Face Selling
Face to Face Selling is another term used for personal selling. It is a process in which salesperson interacts with customer directly in order to sell the product. Face to Face selling is marketing and selling product to customer using his skills and marketing techniques. It can occur during a sales meeting or in a retail environment. Face to Face Selling is considered as cornerstone of sales. It can be done through presentations, persuasive pitch or demonstrations. For major sales people like to meet salesman rather than opting for telephonic or online buying.

(неформально, напр., на улице)<i/> On every street corner there were traders hawking their wares.

disagree  The Misha: This would work to describe the Central Bazaar in Bishkek but has nothing to do with MLM, which is apparently the broader context here.

Direct sales

Explanation:
This is apparently MLM-related, so it has nothing to do with peddling cheap, low-quality wares on street corners. The official term used by Avon, Mary Kay and other such MLM schemes is direct sales, and the people that are stupid enough to engage in that are called direct sales associates/partners/ team members, etc. Direct sales partners would probably be the most suitable description here. In the US, they also routinely talk of "Avon ladies" or "Mary Kay ladies" since for the most part they are not "dyadkies" but rather "tyotkies". There is also such a thing as "in-home shopping parties" or "home party sales," which is exactly what the term implies: an Avon or Herbalife "tyotka" comes to a party in a private home called up for that particular purpose and peddles her goodies to other "tyotkas" in between cheap white wine and hamburgers. It may not be glamorous, but it still helps pay the bills if one is lucky enough.

agree  Michael Korovkin: And don't go "knock on houses"! Leave it to King Kong...+ pard'n, "knock AT houses". I wouldn't know how,but at least you wouldn't knock ON them.Nor would you knock them up:I guess King Kong or at least Godzilla could do that – to a conceding adult house

disagree  Turdimurod Rakhmanov: Direct sales-totally different stuFF. They should not necessarily knock at people's houses as King Kong did~! The First lesson, learn: what does "knock at people's houses" mean? and then make your "empty" boast!

-> Thank you, Turdimurod. Stay safe!

disagree  Michael Korovkin: your 'Net reference is misleading. It contradicts the very concept of"с рук".I quote from your own source about"face-to-face":"It can occur during a sales meeting or in a retail environment".That is,including stores."Купил с рук в магазине?" У"спекулянта"?

-> Thank you, DT SM. My best regards!

agree  Magamed Aslanov: "face-to-face" or as an option "personal purchase" would go. In the active Russian business vocabulary "купить с рук" may have optional and connotation based translation."Купил комп с рук" (second-hand PC purchase),"К. рыбу с рук на рынке"(face-to-face))
