rode rots
Explanation:
The term relates to a type of Alpine (high-mountain) vegetation:

Etc.

'Rode rots' in Dutch mean 'red cliffs/rocks' in EN and 'красные камни/скалы' in RU:

In the center of Australia there are a couple of red cliffs which are absolute unique: Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas).

So, if I were to RU>EN translate "родероты" I would suggest "'rode rots' (Dutch: 'red-rock') meadows".

Thank you, I really appreciate your help. Am still a little unsure about this term, and why it may have been borrowed from Dutch in this ecological context.

rhododendrons

Explanation:
Rhododendrons are alpine species.
cc
Rhododendron /ˌroʊdəˈdɛndrən/ (from Ancient Greek ῥόδον rhódon "rose" and δένδρον déndron "tree")[3][4] is a genus of 1,024 species of woody plants in the heath family (Ericaceae), either evergreen or deciduous, and found mainly in Asia, although it is also widespread throughout the Southern Highlands of the Appalachian Mountains of North America. It is the national flower of Nepal. Most species have brightly coloured flowers which bloom from late winter through to early summer

-------------------------
Rhododendron ferrugineum (sometimes called alpenrose, snow-rose, or rusty-leaved alpenrose) is an evergreen shrub that grows just above the tree line in the Alps, Pyrenees, Jura and northern Apennines, on acid soils.
