Russian term or phrase: Looking for Russian nature reference material
Hello,

I am currently working on a project relating to nature and animals, translating from Russian to English.

Could anyone recommend a good reference book for Russian nature/animal vocabulary?

Any advice much appreciated.

Thank you.

Промысловые животные are fur-bearing animals )mink, sable, fox, rabbits, etc.) for their furs, other animals for food products (ungulates, fish, mollusks, crustaceans, etc.), and for technical raw material (fat, leather, musk, etc.). An all-encompassing term related to any animals used in trade/commerce (Промысл). The reptiles are the same.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you Jack, much appreciated! Could I ask you a couple of things? Can you confirm what this means: Промысловые животные Российской Федерации. Would it be translated as 'Game animals'? Or is it specific to a certain type of hunted animal? And also, is there a difference in English between these words for reptile: рептилий or пресмыкающихся? Thanks again for getting back to me :)
