Device Description: The VX120 family is composed of a range of multi-functional ophthalmic diagnostic devices.VX130 is the main product of the family, VX130 is the one with the most features. All other devices are "sub-products" in that they have same hardware but have one of more functionality less.The software is the same, but depending on the models, functionalities are activated or not.A comparison of devices of the family is described in the document RE-30200018-00.The VX130 machine is a combination of 5 technologies: - Shack Hartmann technology: to measure both low and high order aberrations of the eye, to measure refraction.- Placido disks: for keratometry and for corneal topography measurement.- Non-contact tonometer for measurement of Internal ocular pressure- Scheimpflug image: for anterior chamber analysis (pachymetry, irido corneal angle)- Retro illumination: for detection of opacityMeasurement is fully automatic using image processing software and fully automated motors for centering and focusing. The machine includes a fixation target with automatic fogging for accommodation control.The VX130 has same hardware as VX120. The difference is that VX130 provides multi-slits of the Scheimpflug camera resulting of multiple results of the same indication in different place in the cornea as well as additional maps, while VX120 provides only one Scheimpflug image.
