Explanation:
"Le métal utilisé par le forgeron possède avant déformation des caractéristiques mécaniques conformes à celles que stipulent les normes de produit. Quelle que soit l'opération de forgeage qu'il subit, ce métal, après déformation, se trouve corroyé. Pendant la déformation, si une dimension géométrique diminue, les deux autres augmentent, à cause de l'invariabilité du volume. Par définition, on appelle taux de corroyage (T ) le rapport section initiale (S ) sur section finale (S ) du produit obtenu : T = S /S ."
