following after (Chist)
Explanation:
This is the answer I have received from an othodox priest in the U.S.:

"... The word you mention, "posledovanje", refers to following after Him, in being his true successors.
The "petohlebnica" is part of a service where 5 loaves of bread, along with wheat, wine and oil, are blessed, very similar to the blessing of the 5 breads performed in the ancient Temple in Jerusalem in Old Testament times..."

This is obviously another meaning of "petohlebnica".

So, "posledovanje" is "following after (Christ)".

If, however, your task is to translate the name of the psalter, I suggest that you leave "posledovanje" as is (just like the other translators did - see above) /Psalter with "Posledovanje"/, since "posledovanje" is not a modern Serbian word.

you're right , POSLEDOVANJE means the above, but in the context HIMNE SA POSLEDOVANJEM, it means just HYMNS, so PSALTER is the term I'm looking for here

Rite

Explanation:
"Posledovanje" in religion means the procedure of prayers and ceremonies and their description (see any religious glossary).

From Merriam Webster dictionary:

rite (riet) n.
1. a formal ceremony or procedure prescribed or customary in religious or other solemn use.

If you can read Cyrillic I can give the description from an Orthodox glossary:

Ďîńë`ĺäîâŕíčĺ (ńđ.)
Đ˙ä ěîëčňâ čëč öĺđęîâíűő ńëóćá, đŕńďîëîćĺííűő â îďđĺäĺëĺííîě ďîđ˙äęĺ.

This corresponds to the definition from Merriam Webster given above.

Good luck!

Mitropolit Amfilohije Radovic (clanci):
