Serbo-Croat term or phrase: Tko je ovdje lud, a tko zbunjen?
The term in question is the title of a comment regarding an article from Vecernji list. The comment reads further:
"Želimo pridruženje Europskoj uniji, a u Ameriku idemo da nam oni u tome pomognu svojim iskustvom? Ta ekipa koja je uredno pokupila dnevnice za obilazak Washingtona i NYC-a bi tamo trebala i ostati... Barem na teèaju engleskog jezika... Ja bih im i više od toga platio da ostanu tamo, samo da ne rade štetu ovdje."
I do not need a literal translation, but an English translation that will convey the sarcasm of the original text.

Slazem se sa kolegom da je ono oko ludog i zbunjenog vrlo tesko prevesti na engleski, a da se pri tome zadrze oba izraza, pa to ne treba ni pokusavati.
Medjutim, engleski jezik je bogat sarkasticnim frazama koje se u navedeni kontekst jako dobro uklapaju iako se u njima ne spominje ni lud ni zbunjen.

Posto sam ja vec dala jedan primjer u naslovu, navodim vam samo jos nekoliko, pa vi izaberite ako vam se svidja.
Ako ne, onda pokusajte nesto slicno ili nesto drugacije - samo zaboravite pri tome na ludog i zbunjenog, citajte tekst i pokusajte da izvucete poentu, pa cete se mozda jednhim obicnim pitanjem citaocu stavljenim u naslov teksta najbolje 'izvuci'.

Nekoliko primjera:

Ako je sa neki test ili ispit onda imate vise slobode da birate cak i iskljucivo lokalne izraze.

Explanation:
Do not try, please, to convey this kind of Croatian (in fact Bosnian) sarcasm into English ... because it is a "mission imposible" - simply, mental pattern".

To understand this phrase you shold've known a Bosnian joke (jedan
bosanski vic) of some 30 years ago which has for the point-&-conclusion (punch-line) .. tj, ima za poantu... a Bosnian phrase:
"Jebe lud zbunjernoga !"

Generally, the essence of the phrase was (in Bosnia) ment to describe a caotic situation where no one knows any rules of behaviour.

Again, to understand (and to be able of translating) it is not enough JUST to DECLARE, somewhere between The Valons and "What-Where-The-Opposite-Part", the knowledge of a Certain Languge ...
One shoulde've LIVED it before DECLARING ANYTHING...
