Hallo iederen,

Kan er iemand helpen bij de vertaling van 'alerón' in een maritieme context.
Zelf denk ik aan iets als 'zijdek' maar er is wellicht een correcter woord.
De RAE geeft volgende definitie: "Cada una de las extremidades laterales del puente de un buque"

Enkele voorbeelden:

"El declarante se dirigió hacia el alerón de babor y en el tránsito ordenó caer a babor con toda la caña".
"Se acercó al alerón y pudo apreciar un intercambio de disparos".

Ik kan me dus perfect voorstellen hoe het eruit moet zien op een schip, maar ik vind het concrete woord niet in het Nederlands.
