T-Bud: o injerto en T. Se realiza cuando la corteza puede levantarse con facilidad sin dañar los vasos liberoleñosos, tarda en brotar de 20 a 25 días.


Chip-Bud: Significa Injerto de yema, utilizado cuando es difícil o imposible levantar la corteza, para no deteriorar los vasos conductores de savia. Este tipo de injerto, según las condiciones climáticas tarda en brotar hasta 40 días.
