I find it hard to imagine an extract made from the husk of the cocoa bean and chocolate wafers ....

Perhaps the "cascarilla" is NOT "cascarilla de cacao" , but rather the husk/shell of something else.

Asker: Sorry about the lack of context. In fact the text is only two lines long: "proceso para obtener un extracto a partir de cascarilla y/o de cacao". Followed by a sentence explaining that the end product is "ideal para chocolate, panificación..."
