si seguimos la explicación de Fryars. Tanto "filotrón" como "fitotrón" en castellano existen y hay muchos más enlaces que en inglés. O son dos términos diferentes o ambas palabras pueden ser usadas indiferentemente, es decir, con el mismo significado.

Hazel and Valeria: In view of the above, I maintain that "phytotron" is the correct term. Phylo has to do with the leaves (see explanation from Mr. Fryars). Saludos and good luck.

Hi,

The word "phytotron" is applied to describe an apparatus that produces climates artificially for the study of plant growth, so you are correct that it may be used for chambers, rooms and greenhouses, although generally only to chambers and rooms.

The word phylotron may exist; try www.wikepedia.com or the Oxford English Dictionary online. Personally I doubt it, because phylo has to do with the leaves of a plant, the "tron" is generic for mechanical equipment.
