Thank you!

malleable

Explanation:
I've found plenty of references to malleable plants/trees/shrubs, etc. You may want to investigate further as this is not something I specialise in, hence the level of confidence.

Asker: Hi I have closed this question, but thank you for replying. There is an expression "plastic response" in English, and I think this is the meaning in my text. http://216.239.59.104/search?q=cache:P5u1Vxv7c8EJ:www.iger.bbsrc.ac.uk/SAGES2/Po_article-exploiting.htm+Mediterranean+plants+have+a+more+plastic+response&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=7&gl=uk

with more plasticity

Explanation:
Plasticity is the correct and exact word. Browse i.e. "phenotypic plasticity".

"Phenotypic plasticity: the capacity of an organism to develop any of several phenotypic states, depending on the environment; usually this capacity is supposed to be adaptive". Futuyma, D.J. 1998. Evolutionary Biology. 3rd Ed. Sinauer

Liz: Futuyma's textbook is a world-class "bible" on the topic.
