Al parecer, es el número cinco, el pentágono, la figura geométrica que mejor resuelve esta ecuación. Por ello casi toda la naturaleza contiene estos pentágonos, sea de forma visible o invisible. Basta con cortar una manzana por la mitad para encontrar uno.

Quizá esto explique el enigma que desde el origen de nuestra civilización ha atraído a artistas y pensadores: el hecho de que el pentágono contenga en sí mismo una **relación** de proporción áurea (Golden Ratio).

"ratio relationship" refers to the relationship to something else, not to the ratio as in "relación de proporción". Note that "relación de proporción" is a single construction which does not mean a relationship to a ratio.

Asker: Hola Andres - pensaba que solo las palabras "proporción aurea" significa "Golden Ratio" y no "relación" también. Es todo parte de la misma cosa?

Asker: Después de un poco de investigación creo que "relación de proporción" = "ratio relationship". "Relación" y "proporción" pueden significa "ratio" (pero `relación' en este contexto aquí no) y por eso no tiene sentido utilisar las dos juntos. Es mi razonamiento de todos modos! :-)

Again, I'm sorry for the late answer. Topic I like.

I would rephrase it a bit, just not to repeat the "relación" part. But here, "relación" it does mean ratio. In this case, "relación de proporción" should not be taken as one concept.

In other words, number five, the pentagon can be found everywhere in Nature, whether we can see it or not. Just take a look at the seeds in the core of an apple, starfish, many types of flowers or shellfish.

And maybe this explains the enigma that has attracted artists and thinkers since the dawn of civilization: the fact that the pentagon contains in itself a "Golden Ratio" kind of proportion.

It's like in Hamlet there is a play within a play?
Well, here it's "A ratio within a ratio: the Golden Ratio" (so to speak)

"A specific kind of ratio: the Golden one"

So not to repeat ratio, I'd use proportion.
