Depende: si el servicio, tal como dijeron, se ofrece solo por medio de computadora me quedaría con "click", pero si un servicio que se compra por medio del televisor y por ende el control remoto buscaría otra opción relacionada, por ejemplo una como un sustantivo derivado de los verbos "choose" o "pick up". Te doy una muestra: "the amount of SELECTED non linear contents". Puedo estar equivocado por supuesto así que si quieren destrozar mi traducción ¡adelante! En suma, es solo una sugerencia. Saludos.

En muchas ocasiones, quien se cree detentar la verdad -lo cual es legítimo per se-, no logra ver más allá de sus narices y tira cornadas a diestra y siniestra que desacreditan cualquier opinión no acorde con la suya. Ahí hay que tener cuidado... en la duda, abstente, como se dice en francés, y mucho más cuando, como en tu caso, no se domina la lengua origen. Cordialidad y haya paz y, sobre todo, tener la dignidad de reconocer de que no se tiene la razón. Eso no mata, te hace mejor. Esperamos respuesta en español, como ya solicitado.

I don't know whether this is referring to a web-based service, and I am definitely not a specialist in this area (I don't watch much TV and what I do watch is "linear" programming at the scheduled time), but I do know that people watch TV on all sorts of media these days on a "non-linear" basis. My sons watch their favourite TV series on their mobile phones or on the computer.

I actually never debated whether "pinchazo" could mean click in Spain, I debated whether it was applicable to this sentence and context because of the fact that this deals with TV and there's no reference to it being a web service

and the other item was that a "pinchazo" in general means something that is pinched, like when a garden hose is crimped, or some form of puncture or hole

pinchazo in the sense of click is certainly not common in Latin America or US Spanish (I know the asker is located in Spain but that doesn't mean the Spanish necessarily is)

again, I'm not attached to my answer, and if this is a web-based service then it starts to make sense

but going off the original context of TV service and the general meaning of pinchazo (which is not click) I came up with what seemed like a plausible theory

like all theories it may be wrong, but the word pinchazo never comes up in any pay TV service or web item I've ever seen

"Pulsar", quizá, más formal, en España.
"Dé click (aquí)" en muchas ocasiones.
"Cliquee", también.

Pinchar también significa "actuar de DJ". Común.

I'm not sure "pinchazos" is slang in this sense; it's just another word for "clic". I don't know of a more formal term for the phenomenon.

"No lineales" goes with "contenidos", not with "pinchazos". "Contenidos lineales" means linear programming (aka appointment-based TV): "Television service where the viewer has to watch a scheduled TV program at the particular time it’s offered, and on the particular channel it's presented on". Whereas "contenidos no lineales" is interactive, on-demand programming, where you decide what you want to watch and when.

So I think this is referring to on-demand (non-linear) TV on a web-based service, where you pay a subscription that covers certain content, and other content is pay-per-view. Or something like that.

I also have no doubt that it is used to refer to clicks in Spanish slang, but let's look at the sentence it would give us:

Number of non-linear clicks on content, distinguishing the clicks by those for which the subscriber makes a specific payment, (non-periodic) from those which are covered for the subscriber fee

a non-linear click? payment for clicks? clicks covered by the fee and not?

it's a pretty sketchy sentence that results

if this were web content minus the "non-linear" part I would totally agree, but as pay TV is usually selected from an on-screen menu and not via the web, I'm doubtful

I made my initial answer simply as an inference and I'm not attached to it at all, but I'm highly skeptical of clicks in this sentence and context

From the context, I've no doubt that it does refer to clicks, and if "pinchazo" means (among other things) "acción de pinchar", and "pinchar" can mean to click, then pinchazo can in principle mean a click.

Alternative meanings of "pinchazo" don't fit here. To me, at least, it makes no sense for the subscriber to be making a special payment for a service suspension.

However, I must say that in my experience "pinchazo" is not widely used (at least in Spain) with this meaning, and for that matter it's not easy to find examples of it on the Internet. The word "clic" is almost always used to refer to a click in this sense.
