neutral  philgoddard: I think you've misunderstood the question - Wendy is not asking about "seguro saldado". And "préstamo" would make sense only if the policy were used to secure a loan.

  -> I never answered the saldado part and I - as a law clerk having en/in dorsed over clients' life policies as collateral for a cash loan - clearly spell out an endowment-type mortgage in the other, related answer.
