Spanish term or phrase: disjuntas o iguales entre sí
From an academic text on database reengineering and reverse engineering. The section deals with the various steps to be taken when table grouping:

Seleccionar las tablas cuyas PK no contienen la PK de otra tabla y que sean disjuntas o iguales entre sí, agrupándolas en conjuntos.

(PK = Primary Key)

This seems a sort of contradiction in terms, any ideas?

English translation:disjoint sets with the same PK
Explanation:
After some effort I came up with the following suggestion.

I think it is the sets of tables which are disjoint whereas within each set, the PK is the same.

"Seleccionar las tablas cuyas PK:"
i) "no contienen la PK de otra tabla y que sean disjuntas" (i.e. the PKs are formed into disjoint sets) "
ii) "o iguales entre sí" (or rather, the PKs in each set are equal)

This would then make step b (i.e. groups of disjoint PKs) possible.
