agree  Robert Carter: Yes, that's it, though I believe in most other Spanish variants they're more commonly called "incidentes", right?

  -> Thanks, Robert. I'm none too sure there are 'true synonyms' in Spanish / Lat. Am. law, besides which 'incidencias' may connote stoppages during trial.

  -> Thanks, Chris. As intimated to Robert, I'm none too sure there are 'true synonyms' in ES/ Lat. Am. law, besides which 'incidencias' may connote 'foul-ups' during trial, rather than motions - notices of motion also E+W for injunctions - or applications.
