¿Estará bien traducirlo como "I decided to keep (patient's) treatment" o algo similar como "I decided to maintain (patient's) medication" (and recommended changes in lifestyle)?

Muchas gracias

the patient's therapy was continued
Explanation:
Hola Yvonne, ¡espero que estés bien!

You could say "treatment" instead, or "medication."

  -> yo también! Gracias!

agree  Thomas Walker: This may be one of those cases where the idiomatic English equivalent could use future tense: it [the condition] will be kept under treatment.

Gracias!

neutral  Joseph Tein: It's the patient who is kept under treatment, not the condition. // (Yvonne says "el" paciente ... presumably the gender is stated in some other part of the report.)//Also: one way to deal with unknown gender in English is to use "he/she."
