Spanish term or phrase: ampolla bebida
Hi all,
I'm looking for a suitable translation for "ampolla bebida". It appears on a prescription with the name of the medication followed by:
"1 ampolla bebida, cada 12 horas."
I have used vial in the past, but this is the first time I have seen ampolla bebida.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thank you :)

agree  neilmac: Yes, I was told I could take (¡njectable) Buscapina ampoules orally for quick relief of renal colic. Wish they'd told me how foul it tasted! Yuk....

agree  Chema Nieto Castañón: Ampoules of metamizol (for e.v. normal use) is what is sometimes recommended orally in a renal colic (Spain). Those can be acceptable to taste when poured in a little sip of sugar water...
