This is a from a book about Jung's Red Book. I think it has to do with lion-headed, but wonder if there is a term in English:

Nos limitaremos aquí al mitraísmo, religión mistérica que interesó particularmente a Jung en su obra temprana y que aparece en el Liber Novus en una situación culminante, la crucifixión del propio Jung al modo de un leontocéfalo, análogo a la representación del dios mitraico, con cabeza de león y la serpiente enroscada en su cuerpo, aunque sin las alas ni las llaves que lleva en su mano, ambos atributos de Filemón.
