a place where resettlers/(migrants) are welcome Explanation: This solution needs a term that is not emotionally charged like 'migrants', so I picked "resettlers." The word is widely used but still doesn't appear in the dictionary,. Surely it's only a matter of time because everyone is trying to avoid 'migrants'. www.cia.gov › library › readingroom › docs THE INTEGRATION OF RESETTLERS IN EAST GERMANY www.unhcr.org › en-us Refugees, **forced resettlers** and 'other forced migrants' - UNHCR toggle menu. host site/resettlement site Explanation: In your first example, maybe host/resettlement site, as it seems to be about relocating marginalised people: documents.worldbank.org › curated › pdf Involuntary Resettlement - World Bank DocumentsPDF The carrying capacity of each host site needs to be assessed to determine the number of resettlers it can accommodate without overloading existing infrastructure. web.mit.edu › urbanupgrading › upgrading › whatis › history History of Urban Upgrading - MIT One response to prevent augmenting urban poverty involved the relocation of residents to resettlement sites that were usually outside of the city. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 days 21 hrs (2020-01-29 19:32:43 GMT) Post-grading -------------------------------------------------- Glad to be of help, Wendy! |
