Spanish term or phrase: tiempo de paso obligatorio
From the reservation guidelines for a golf course in Spain, referring to the coordination of 9-hole and 18-hole reservations:

"Para poder coordinar ambas salidas, existe un tiempo de paso obligatorio por el hoyo 10 para los jugadores que vayan a jugar 18 hoyos de 2.20 minutos. Todos los partidos deberán respetar dicho tiempo de paso, no pudiendo salir del hoyo 10 ni antes ni después de dicho tiempo."

Any golfers out there know what a "tiempo de paso" would be called in English? And is it the time that the hole needs to be completed in? Or just the tee off?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Given USGA's policy on "pace of play" (as seen below), a translation that includes "pace of play" (with either required or mandatory) would appear to be the best option.

United States Golf Association
"The 'pace of play' policy must lay out the required time for players to complete the round, a hole or holes and, if the “out of position/group monitoring” policy is used, a stroke. The following may be used as a guide (give or take a minute based on the ease/difficulty of the hole) in determining the appropriate time allotted for a hole and thus a roun."

I hope this helps!

the time which is required

Explanation:
In order to co-ordinate both outlets, the time required for players to complete the number of holes or pits must be allowed to pass. All players should respect the recommended time without leaving the place before or afterwards. It looks like a game of golf or an organized competition.

Example sentence(s):
  • Para co-ordinar las salidas, el tiempo requerido tiene que pasarse para que los jugadores cumplan el número de hoyos.
  • Todos los jugadores deben de respectar el paso del tiempo recomendado sin salir del lugar ni antes ni después del tiempo acordado. Parace ser un juego de golf o un concurso organizado.

mandatory time to (reach) the turn

Explanation:
I would say

it's not about the pace of play which is general and refers to how fast players move around the course

this is more specific and refers to how long it takes to reach the "turn" meaning completing the first 9 and moving on to the tenth tee

know it looks like hairsplitting but this is specific

more colloquial would be "maximum time to make the turn"

coming back to this "the turn" means "hole 1 of the second 9" and as they're teeing off from 1 and 10 "the turn" will be the first or the 10th hole but doesn't affect the concept
