Creo que tu opción es buena, pero pésimo es pero que "défavorable", tiene más intensidad. Por tanto yo añadiría un "très" para que tenga la misma intensidad.

Puisqu'il s'agit de géologie (d'après le domaine indiqué), j'ai pensé à "faille" pour "rotura"... mais, sans plus de précisions, je ne vois pas quoi dire de mieux pour "pésima" que ce qui a déjà été proposé (car je suppose que "la pire" ou "la plus mauvaise" ne convient pas ici). A moins de dire en quoi cette "rotura" est "pésima" : est-ce la plus profonde ? la plus mal placée ?
