Je traduis actuellement un article sur le cas Madoff et j'ai un doute quant à la traduction du verbe "casar" dans cette phrase: "Mi amigo llegó incluso a duplicar, a modo de mayor seguridad, la tarea de casar las boletas que reflejaban las supuestas operaciones de Madoff que afectaban a sus clientes". Je l'ai traduit par "vérifier" pour l'instant mais je ne suis pas tout à fait satisfaite. Une autre idée? Merci et bonne année!

En esta frase, creo que hay un error de ortografía, debería haberse usado "cazar" y para este verbo hay dos acepciones coloquiales:
2. tr. coloq. Adquirir con destreza algo difícil o que no se esperaba.

3. tr. coloq. Entender algo rápidamente.
No llego a descifrar cuál de las dos acepciones quiso emplear el autor. De cualquier modo, podrías traducirlo por "saisir", verbo que reúne las dos ideas: adquirir/obtener/agarrar/tomar // entender.
Es un verbo que se usa mucho en la Argentina.
