Reference information:
Автор явно хотел выделить, что дон-Леонардо по-испански говорил. Я бы попыталась сохранить это в переводе. Т.е., оставить Qué pues! И продолжить на русском со сноской переводчика. Но это зависит от текста, конечно.

Asker: Да, но он и остальное говорит по-испански, хотя роман на английском! Я вот читаю "Муки и радости" и там иногда точно так же оставлены у героев некоторые слова на итальянском. Это странно, они ведь и так на нем говорят, зачем же оставлять отдельные слова? Но это вопрос к автору оригинала.
