Swedish to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Accounting / Foreign payment statement
Swedish term or phrase: lägis
Context is a wire transfer statement. Example of the last portion of data given with the term at the bottom:

Skickat belopp: xxx
Belopp i SEK: xxx
Avgift: xxx
Totalt: xxx
Referens utlandsbetalning: xxx
Betalning utförd av: xxx
Meddelande till mottagaren:
Lägis

There is nothing after that. I don't know if "lägis" is in reference to the message sent to the receiver or a term on its own, in either case I don't understand what it might mean in this context. Any help would be appreciated. US English.

apartment

Explanation:
I am guessing that "lägis" is slang for "lägenhet" which of course is "apartment" in the US. In other words, it would indicate the rent having been paid for an apartment.

Explanation:
From searching on the internet, I found the term on various blogs. It appears to be slang for "lägenhet".

what's up

Explanation:
This is hard, and it could very well be short for "lägenhet" (i.e. apartment). However, I believe it could also be another version of the greeting "läget" (i.e. what's up). Compare to some people using "kramis" instead of "kram" (i.e. hugs) or, even worse, "kramiz".

Sure, but since it's a message from the sender to the receiver, I suppose it could say pretty much anything the sender wants...

Asker: Your logic is sound and thanks for this for future reference, but I'm not sure it's likely to find "what's up" on a wire transfer statement. :)
