fluidly painted landscapes and cityscapes Explanation: I think fluid covers "loose/easy/flowing", otherwise I would turn the sentence around, although that makes it more "wordy". Something like "he is known (famous/has a reputation) for his landscapes and cityscapes painted in a loose/easy fluid style". I think cityscapes can also be urban landscapes, or city compositions/themes/subjects... hope that helps. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 35 mins (2010-02-17 10:08:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- (Sorry Transcrit - we posted at the same time, I agree that two similar adjectives seems like overkill here!) |
