Swedish term or phrase: stoppsignal
This appears to be a sign which does not have an equivalent in the UK, or at least not that I can find.
It indicates that motorists can pass the light when red if they are turning left or right, but not driving straight on.

The text is about driving in Sweden.
Does anyone know if there is an accepted English translation for this term?

Stoppsignal
I denna situation när det finns en skylt Stoppsignal ska du stanna vid stopplinjen vid rött ljus, om du ska fortsätta rakt fram.
Ska du svänga till vänster eller höger behöver du inte stanna vid stopplinjen vid rött ljus.

English translation:stop sign
Explanation:
I think it just refers to a regular Stop sign.
In my reading, the text does NOT say that this sign indicates "that motorists can pass the light when red if they are turning left or right, but not driving straight on". The text only says that motorists should behave in some such way in a certain SITUATION. I.e. the difference is due to the situation, not due to the sign being of a particular kind.

PS Although a translation, this site may still be a potential source of information to assist you with the translation you are currently working on. I'm not sure why I didn't find it before, but with reference to your earlier question on ömsesidigt samspel, it offers:

Om accelerationsfält finns har varken de i accelerationsfältet eller de på motorvägen företräde. Ömsesidig hänsyn och anpassning gäller.

If there is an acceleration lane, neither those in the acceleration nor those on the motorway have priority. Mutual consideration and adaptation apply.
