Proofing a job by another translator, I see that he has used a direct translation, namely, "sales premiere". Is that right? I can't find any relevant Google hits and while that term is certainly clear in its meaning, I don't recall ever seeing it or hearing it.

"I samband med säljpremiären lämnas en köpanmälan in." - as an example.

Explanation:
I don't recognise “sales premiere” either, but I don't think it's incorrect. “Sales start” is an alternative, as is “start of sales” but they're neither better nor worse. I suggest you let “sales premiere” pass this time.
