Swedish term or phrase: kommer i tide
In a 1917 letter from Malmö, the writer discusses the various shortages of foodstuffs in Sweden at that time: "Smörransonen varierar. I denna vecka får säljas 1 kg till person. 'Får säljas' säger jag, ty det är icke säkert man får något, d.v.s. kommer i tide. I denna veckan ha' vi ej haft smör här jag bor, och fru Anderson är så olycklig så!"

I'm unsure what the phrase "kommer i tide" means here...
