bog/fen stream Explanation: This is another one of those local usages like this answer I gave recently, http://www.proz.com/kudoz/swedish_to_english/tourism_travel/... The acidic drainage from a bog or fen is what your looking for. I sense there are several ways to describe this but found this reference https://www1.cmos.ca/Amsoft Web Data/upload/6752.html; and there are refrerences to bog stream. Depending on your geology, you might consider wooded fen for 'sumpskog' since bog/fen is geologically different from 'marsh'. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 48 mins (2013-05-17 06:51:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Here's a pretty photo! http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Frozen_bog_stream,_Pe... the flush Explanation: Apparently it's been asked before - see ref. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2013-05-17 07:57:55 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Oh dear! I find it's easier to search from Google for ProZ answers as it's too difficult to find them through the site! Reference: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/swedish_to_english/forestry_wood_t... |
