Swedish term or phrase: traversförare
talk about falling at the last hurdle. This was the last sentence of a fairly long document!
The full sentence reads "Den som overvakar måste vara godkdnd som traversforare"
It has nothing to do with cranedrivers rather supervisors with an extremely important safety-related function. I am tempted to write
Supervisors must be approved as such. Can anyone confirm without guessing please.

Yes, Michael Ellis' comment is correct. A gantry crane is an overhead crane but an overhead crane is not necessarily a gantry crane.
