Turkish term or phrase: çemberli somya
I found this term together with "yaylı somya".
While I understand what a bed base with springs is, I have no idea what kind of a bed base this "çemberli somya" could be.

Thank you for your help !

coil matress
Explanation:
Not very commonly used this way in Turkish, but it is coil(ed) mattress in English.

Coils are either encased (http://www.goodnightnaturals.com/pocket-coil-mattresses.html... or open (http://cesurticaret.com/idas.htm#). It is a spring bed I believe, but as the method to place those springs changes, the definition of the bed springs changes as well, as I understand. Coils are considered a bit more organized in layout and of course more promotional for sales purposes (otherwise, how could a manufacturer claim to develop a better product than a spring bed? :)

Dear Michael,

I am afraid you are mislead by supporting word for a wron definition, as you well know the word "coil" means primarily "helical metllic product" but you asked for is "çemberli somya" çember means "Strap and Somya means "Matress". I do not hurt my collegue Erkan, yet what you asked for is "Srap Matress" for you information.
