Dediğim gibi siz zaten bulmuşsunuz, ama birkaç kaynak vermek istedim yine de:

Aşağıdaki deprem sözlüğünden:
"ateşküre (Astenosfer): Mantonun içinde yer alan akıcı bir tabaka."

İkinci link olan Deprempark sitesinde daha ayrıntılı bilgi var (Manto başlığını okuyun). Ateşküre mantonun bir parçası imiş zaten, hem Deprempark hem de yukarıda ilk verdiğim Wikipedia linkinde çizimleri var.


Bir de şu sitede -ve arama motorlarında bakarsanız başka pek çok yerde de- astenosferin Türkçedeki bir başka adının "zayıf küre" olduğunu yazıyor. Zaten Yunanca "asthenos" zayıf demekmiş, ama burada zayıf ile kastedilen, eriyik, yumuşak vb tabii. Ama İngilizcede, benim gördüğüm kadarıyla ikinci bir ismi yok, gerçi mantonun bir parçası olduğuna göre, gevşek olarak "mantle" veya "upper mantle" denebilir, ama manto ile birebir aynı şey olmadığı açık.
