English translation:... represent the company to the outside world ...
Explanation:
There is no precise one-to-one translation of such terms. I would start with "Since we represent the company to the outside world" (if the author is referring to a department), or "Since I represent the company to the outside world" (if the author is referring to his/her own particular role).

face

Explanation:
Succession plans usually identify someone who has effective control immediately, Fishman said. Because Dale Bachman has been the FACE of the COMPANY at the NEWS CONFERENCES, it could be that he has that leading role, Fishman speculated. Whoever it is, the person will have strong influence in selecting a permanent successor for the chief executive position.

In my opinion, in this expression "dışı yüzü", the foregoing man represents and impersonifies the company. When you see this man, you recollect the company. Consequently we can say this man is the face of the compan as it is stipulated mentioned in the examples above.

agree  gulakbelen (X): işlerin dış yüzü için de "face" kullanılmış ki burada nuri beyin bahsettiği üzere bir kavramdan değil kişiden bahsediliyor.
