Bu durumda bireylerin, işletmelerin ya da ülkelerin yeni üretim yerleri kurmak ya da eskiyen, yıpranan makine ve donanımlar ile diğer sermaye mallarını yenilemek için mevcut gelirlerinden kaynak ayırması, yatırım olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Kurulan yeni bir fabrika, yapılan yeni bir enerji santrali, yeni bir yol, yeni makineler ve üretim kapasitesindeki genişletmeler ekonomik açıdan yatırım olarak nitelendirilir. Translation - English Investment, in terms of economics, can be defined as net supplements that an individual, a business or a country makes to available capital goods and technical equipment stock in a specific period. In this situation, the fact that individuals, businesses or countries allocate resources from their current incomes to establish new production sites or to renew perishable, obsolescent machines and equipments, and other capital goods is called “investment”. A new-established factory, a new-built power plant, a new road, new machines and extensions in production capacity are qualified as investment in terms of economics. Investment is a concept which is tightly related to capital accumulation (industrialization). Therefore, this concept is strategically important for countries on the way to economic progress and growth. As is evident from definition, net increases in inventories in an economically specific period are also considered investment.

Source text - English Another overview of the integration of financial, strategic, and operational activities supporting shareholder value creation is provided in Figure 12–2. Here we see the core concept of earning in excess of the cost of capital surrounded by the key management activities, starting at the top with the evaluation and selection of sound strategies, leading to broad resource allocation and the analysis of specific business investments. In this area the analytical tools of Chapters 7 and 8 come into play. This is followed by the identification of those elements and variables that drive value creation, which form the basis for operational targets and the measures by which performance is gauged. Here the materials of Chapters 3, 4, and 5 have relevance. Next is the critical area of designing incentives for managers to act in an economic fashion, and to support a long-term view of decision making. We’ve not focused on such incentive programs because they are beyond the scope of this book. İşlenmesi, geçici ya da sürekli depolanması için gerekli önlemleri almak veya aldırmak görevi Türkiye Atom Enerjisi Kurumu’na verilmiştir. Bu tür atıklar oluştukları yerden nihai uzaklaştırmanın yapılacağı yere kadar kontrol edilmeli ve yönetilmelidir. Bu kavram atık yönetiminde “Beşikten mezara kontrol” politikasının gereğidir. Yukarıdaki değerlendirmeye göre her ülkenin yasa yapıcıları tehlikeli atıkların güvenli yönetilmelerini sağlayacak farklı düzenlemeler yapmışlardır. Translation - English Agricultural solid waste in Turkey is either burnt in open air or exposed to decay. In both situations, solid waste causing an important environmental impact on one side, leads to a waste of available resources due to imported fuel costs on the other side. The duty of processing solid waste and taking necessary precautions for storing it temporarily or constantly, or having these precautions taken was given to Turkish Atomic Energy Agency. Such waste should be controlled and managed from the place it is formed to where solid waste disposal is performed. This concept is a necessity of the ‘cradle to the grave control’ policy in waste management. According to the foregoing evaluation, law-makers of every country have made different arrangements that will provide safe management of dangerous waste. These arrangements appoint dangerous waste producers, who must assure management of dangerous waste according to the standards in regulations as one who is legally responsible.
